John Weixelman is the father of eight girls. "If I try and get a word in at the dinner table it's kind of difficult, it's hard to get a word in now and then," Weixelman said. He also feels outnumbered when it comes to time in the bathroom.
Weixelman feels blessed to have his eight daughters. While he does think about how much eight weddings will cost, he's been told having girls will pay off in the long run. "Lots of people who have kids tell me if you're going to have kids you might as well have daughters, because they generally take better care of you when you get onlder than the boys do," said Weixelman.
The girls, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Mary, Diana, Christing, Laura, Natalie and Annie all think their dad is pretty special. "I think Dad has to be the most patient man I know, he works all day to come home and watch us spend his money."
