Eric Ford, a soldier with the Kansas National Guard and computer teacher at Jetmore Elementary received a surprise greeting upon returning home from Afghanistan.
To welcome Ford home after more than a year overseas, students planned a surprise party, one that went off without a hitch.
"It's really nice to be back in a community that is as close as this one,
with people that care," Ford said.
Next fall, Jetmore Elementary School will be anxiously awaiting to begin its school year with Mr. Ford.
"When school starts I'll be here!" Ford said.
