President Bush will return to Kansas for a second time this month to help State Representative Nick Jordan raise money for his congressional bid.

The May 29 luncheon will be held at a private home in Bucyrus. The White House is not confirming the president's schedule yet, but the Kansas Republican Party sent an e-mail announcing the event.

Bush was in Greensburg last week to deliver the high school's commencement address.

Jordan is challenging Democratic incumbent Dennis Moore in the third Congressional District, which includes Johnson and Wyandotte counties and part of Douglas County.

Vice President Dick Cheney held a fundraiser for Jordan in
December.

what did locking trafic on kellog have to do with Bush's safety? he took a helicopter to greensburg, just a bunch of employees in the convoy, not a president.

Excellent to hear that the President of the USA will be in Kansas. I wish Nick Jordan the best. You have my vote already.

i think the money you would spend for his safety should go to the fundraiser. and then he doesnt have to come. its a waste of money.

How about a heads up so we can avoid trafic this time? I never got an answer about why kellog trafic was tied up for more than a half hour for Bushes motorcade when He took a helecopter.
