A Wichita business owner is the victim of a deadly shooting near downtown. A family spokesperson identified the victim as Jim Collins. The 55-year-old Collins owned Marquee Motorcars.

Two people have been arrested in connection with the shooting.

The shooting happened around 8:00 a.m. in the 500 block of South Saint Francis.

Officers found Collins lying in the street. Investigators say it appears Collins was shot and his body run over.

Police say Collins was abducted from Marquee Motorcars near Douglas & Hillside, and placed in a car. The car was being repaired at Marquee.

At a briefing this afternoon, police announced two people were arrested. An 18-year old was arrested a short time after the shooting. A 24-year old former Marquee employee was arrested this afternoon.

Police have not released the motive for the shooting.
