The weather has created several problems for Wichita's Party on the Prairie. Saturday night, high wind blew over several tents and damaged sound equipment, so the Three Dog Night concert was canceled at the last minute.

After the heavy rains, the current on the river became too high for the water events, so organizers also canceled three events Sunday.

The canceled events are: Star Million Dollar Hole-in-One Contest, Arkansas River Coalition River Rides, and Kansas Gas Service Paddle Boats.

Wichita Festivals Spokesperson Susan Burchill says all other Sunday events, including the Spirit Aerosystems Rockin' on the River event, will go on as scheduled.
