If you really want to know if the slot machines will help Kansas economy why don't some of the people go down to Oklahoma City and look at what is taking place. They are busy. Some people go to the races and some go to enjoy the slots. There are jobs there for either. Eureka has six days of racing this year because Kansas is so slow in getting anything done. Therefore there really isn't anything in Eureka. No summer work. Kansas has to complicate everything and of course Kansas is always the last.
As soon and the turnpike is paid for there will be no more fees....the lottery will solve all our problems and make the government millions....seems like I have heard this before. Can somebody tell me where?
