A study for the Kansas Lottery concludes that gambling at four state-owned resort casinos and slot machines at race tracks would generate $739 million in revenue.

The study assumes that two Indian casinos will be operating across the state line in Oklahoma. The Quapaw casino is being built south of Cherokee County, and the Pawnee casino is planned for south of Arkansas City.

A Kansas law enacted last year allows casinos in Wyandotte, Cherokee, Sumner and Ford counties. It also allows slot machines at the Woodlands dog and horse racing park in Kansas City and Camptown Greyhound Park in Frontenac.
