is there anything i can do to help
To the comment posted by "Hummer Location", us naysayers as you like to call us actually not only go near the corner of K53 (known as 119th to us locals) and 81...WE LIVE THERE!. When Mulvane wanted to put in a swimming pool the city council was sure to let us out there in no man's land no about it and asked us to vote, but for some reason about a casino in our front yard we all of a sudden do not have any say what so ever. I have a feeling if it was to be built in downtown Mulvane all the supporters would feel the same way us out here in the country do.
Those who have attended all the meetings held by the Mulvane City Council will tell the same story about the naa-sayers of the casino. Those people get up and tell the same stats they have gotten off the internet time and time again. Most of them probably never even go near the corner of K53 and 81 Highway so why are they so concerned about the casino? If they do not wish to participate in that activity, just stay home. A lot of people don't gamble but they will enjoy having a nice place to dine, enjoy the top-notch entertainment that will be available and not to even mention the outstanding golf course. Just because the "no casino" people are in the minority doesn't mean they have not had a chance to speak their minds. Come on - grow up!
Sounds pretty shady to me, I'm guessing money has already exchanged hands to get their bid pushed to the top of the list. There is no valid reason for them to put an office in a podunk place like Mulvane without some sort of profit or guarantee that their bid will be accepted.
What do they think by doing this they will get the location?what a bunch of monkeys.
if you think thats bad try living in park city
This is typical ; big business has bought Kansas government ; all the way down to city hall and the chamber of communism
