Teens arrested after vehicles vandalized in northeast Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. — Several teens are in custody after multiple vehicles were vandalized late last night in northeast Wichita.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of North Lawrence Lane. That's near 13th and Woodlawn.

According to Wichita Police, 17 vehicles had their windows broken out. Officers believe a BB gun was used.

A resident called police and when officers arrived in the area, they stopped a vehicle with four males inside: two 17-year-olds, an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old. Police were able to determine they were involved, and arrested all four for criminal damage to property.
