It was actually my church, and my dads the head pastor! Im not offended at all. Im happy! Thats awesome. You should be able to laugh about stuff like that. It's not nice, but he's done a lot of "not nice" things to other people in his other movies. They didn't kill anyone. Just mock people. Mocking is all Sacha Baron Cohen knows. I laughed at BORAT when other people were mocked, so i'm definitely not going to get all offended just becuase it happend to my city, or better, MY OWN CHURCH :)
I think it is very cool that LA film crews came to film here and I hope I actually get to see our airport in the movie!
I can't believe they stopped them from filming Bruno!! I hope they got good enough footage to put in the film. It'll be a great privilege to see my city in a major motion picture by one of the most brilliant actor/comedians of my time!

There filming Bruno, doesn't sound that funny so far, disrupting a Easter play, making fun of Christanity in Hollywood comedy is so played out, I am not offended as a christian I am offended as a comedian (seinfeld line sort of) hahha

Well for one they were guys dressed like women. And one of the guys had a thong on you could see the strings above his short shorts.
The security footage from the airport that was shown did not look offensive. The cast costumes looked quite cute. What move these days doesn’t have kissing and fighting in anyway. The city should welcome and encourage more film production it’s great for the economy.
I'm just so thankful that they didn't make it to our church! Thank you Wichita for the warning!
I saw these guys operate at the airport and they sure were a weird bunch. I'm surprised security didn't catch on.

I play in a big easter musical in topeka at a church there, and we had something like this ALMOST happen to us. Thankfully the church was called to let us know what was going on...
