Nobody likes long lines at airports.
That's why TSA leaders unveiled changes to the security checkpoints at Wichita Mid-Continent Airport Thursday morning.
The new checkpoints were needed because of early morning congestion that was causing some passengers to miss flights.
The biggest change passengers will notice is the center checkpoint has been removed, and instead there are two separate checkpoints down each hallway.
An additional x-ray machine has also been added, which should help alleviate wait time.
The upgrades cost $110,000.
Airport officials warn that while the changes should help with congestion, there will still be a bit of a wait.
