Police are looking for a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run accident in north Wichita. It happened at approximately 9 p.m. Monday in the 1900 block of North Arkansas Avenue.
Officials say a 38-year-old man was struck by a minivan. The driver then left the scene and was last seen heading northbound on Arkansas. The victim was taken to a local hospital with potentially serious injuries.
The vehicle is described as a silver Chrysler minivan with damage to the front passenger side. Anyone with information about the accident or the whereabouts of the driver is urged to call police.
