A Hutchinson couple was arrested on charges of lewd and lascivious behavior, theft and criminal damage after getting caught engaging in sexual activity at a local Walmart.
Disturbed customers reported the incident just before 7 p.m. Sunday at the Walmart in the 1900 block of East 17th Avenue in Hutchinson.
Police say the couple shoplifted several items, including a tube of sexual lubricant and several personal care products. Police say the 22-year-old man then sexually fondled the 35-year-old woman in front of other shoppers.
Officers arrested the couple and booked them into jail. Officials say the couple was cooperative and did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
