With the Patriot Guard standing watch, hundreds of family, friends and service members gathered in Fredonia Friday to say goodbye and honor SSgt. Bryant Mackey.

My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time and as long as is needed. It was an honor to be part of the Patriot Guard mission on that day. It will never get any harder than it was when we laid our brother to rest; but if you keep the good memories in your heart, it will get better. May God bless you and your family always and forever.
