A Lansing man has died while picking up after a fireworks show.
It happened at the Kenneth W. Bernard Community Park in Lansing Wednesday night.
KMBC reports the 44-year-old man had volunteered to help dispose of fireworks that had not discharged during an Independence Day show. One of the fireworks exploded near him.
No other information has been released.
