Wichita police said a woman used a sawed-off shotgun to fire shots at man, sparking a standoff in southeast Wichita.
Authorities were called to a home in the 800 block of S. Pershing around 10:45 a.m. after a 24-year-old man said a woman shot at him.
Officers arrived at the scene, along with SWAT members, after learning the woman barricaded herself inside the home.The scene was cleared around 12:30 p.m., when authorities did not find the woman inside the home.
The suspect was found walking, about a block away from the scene. She was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm.

A person has been taken into custody after a standoff in southeast Wichita.
Authorities responded to the report of a disturbance with shots fired in the 800 block of S. Pershing just after 11 a.m. Monday.
Capt. Hassan Ramzah said first responders tried to make contact with a woman inside the home. SWAT team members were called to the scene after the woman barricaded herself inside.
Officials entered the home around 12:30 p.m., and did not find the woman inside.
Officers located the suspect about a block away. They took a 27-year-old woman into custody without incident.
No one was hurt.
Authorities cordoned off about a one-block radius during the standoff. Lincoln remained closed for about 30 minutes to clear the scene.
