Police Search For Driver After Road Rage Accident

Wichita police are looking for a driver wanted in a road rage accident.

Authorities said a 23-year-old man was driving near Kellogg and Edwards, when he said he missed his exit to West Street. The driver admitted he accidentally cut off another car behind him.

The man said a woman driving the other car got in front of his vehicle, slammed on her brakes, causing an accident. The man told police he tried to get away from the aggressive driver, but she continued to follow.

Police said the man stopped at a dead end street. He told authorities the woman got out of her car, then started beating on his vehicle. The man manages to drive away, unhurt.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 267-2111.
