The season has ended for Wichita State’s baseball team.

The Shockers did not receive an at-large bid to make the field of 64 for the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. WSU’s 35-25 record may have been a few victories shy for post-season play. The Shockers last played in the series in 2009.

Missouri State eliminated WSU in the Missouri Valley Tournament with a 7-0 win last week. The Shockers were a No. 3 seed.

Three Missouri Valley Conference teams will be appearing in the field: Tournament champion Creighton, season champion Indiana State, and Missouri State.
