Second Letter Revealed, Possibly Written by BTK Suspect

Second Letter Revealed, Possibly Written by BTK SuspectMay 5 - Two poems, both believed to be written in April by Dennis Rader.
"Look at it, two different personalities. He signs his name on one, he signs the suspect on the other," says defense attorney Warner Eisenbise.
And both poems bear striking similarities to poetry in BTK communications.
"There's this constant tense and plural, then it dawn instead of dawns is pretty consistent with the writing, so yeah I do see that," says BTK author Robert Beattie.
We've already shared "Black Friday", a dark poem which many believe refers to the day Dennis Rader was arrested. The other poem is called "Tis' Spring Out There." here it is verbatim:
oh, to walk among the new season,
to heard a robin voice,
to see a dandelion bright,
to watch a butterfly flight,
to smell a simple flower bud,
oh spring these are the many reasons.
Eisenbise believes if the poems are from Rader this could be a calculated move to set up an insanity defense. He doesn't think Rader's attorneys are going to be pleased by the poems, especially "Black Friday."
"I'm certain that the defense team is going to be appalled if it's determined to be authentic."
Howard Brodsky says the poems show Rader is not comfortable with his new life in jail and this is his way of expressing himself. And he doesn't think this will be the last time we'll hear from the BTK suspect.
"I think before it's all over we're going to see a lot of writing coming out of him. I think that's his style and that's what he's going to spend his time in jail doing."
