The Kansas Supreme Court temporarily blocks a Sedgwick County grand jury's access to patient records from abortion provider Dr. George Tiller of Wichita.

The grand jury is investigating whether Tiller has broken Kansas
laws restricting abortion, as many abortion opponents allege. The
grand jury subpoenaed the medical files of about 2,000 women,
including some who decided against having abortions.

Tiller is one of the nation's few late-term abortion providers.

Kathy- Tiller's little friend (a doctor that comes in and performs abortions at his "clinic" several times a month) testified (in general) how he performs abortions. I find that as a former proabortionist myself, denial works best. We don't want to acutally admit the gruesome details of late term abortion...that way it is easier on our conscience.

i dont believe a woman that is raped should be forced to keep the child...rape is a crime.....both mental...and physical

there is a very simple solution to the abortion issue...but i dont know how constitutional it would be,.....since a woman carriesa child..here is the solution..make a national woman's only vote,,,...let the women of this country vote on it.....then when the vote is over....the mob will rule...yes...or no....and never visit it again.....that would be too simple..dee dee deee

Kathy-I am a woman and that arguement about men not being affected by abortion is an old one. Men answer the phones at Planned Parenthood, rally for abortion, perform abortions, etc. I find it interesting that the proabortion side will argue this when they allow men to be a huge part of "the cause" but then they turn around and criticize Prolife men. What about adoption? I find it a lame arguement that women in this day and age do not realize that adoption is a possibility. Abortion a blessing, huh? Talk to many women who are suffering from Post Abortion Syndrome, and they will tell you that the abortion was NOT a blessing. An abortion mill owner in FL is alleged to have placed a breathing baby in a biohazard bag and threw it on the roof to decompose. Authortities did find the dead baby in the clinic. Why would an abortion mill owner not have checks and balances?

Chris what is wrong with you?? Little friend, what does that mean? If the little friend has given testimony, I seriously doubt he is a little friend. Abortions are not performed by dismemberment, what is wrong with you people? If testimony was given...it was not up for public knowledge. It is the Supreme Court that said NO. HIIPA laws are to protect us from layman. No one but you and your Doctor should have any right to your records, abortions are legal in the state and if you want to stand out in front of his clinic and look/act a fool then go for it. I for one support abortion rights and think any woman should, in case she should ever need the service of the only provider we have. Horror stories are just that horror stories. Quit believing all the rumors you hear.

A Grand Jury was formed to decide if Tiller broke the law. Hello! Because of the evil that Tiller does, I would not put anything past him. He does nothing for women and families...only destroys them while making a huge profit. His little friend that comes in a few times a month to perform abortions has said to the US Supreme Court that it sometimes takes a baby 5 to 15 mins to die, and he will cut off whatever he can get to (an arm, a leg wahtever). Tiller's "clinic" is a house of horrors. As a woman, I WILL NOT stand up for Tiller.

It is a sad day when the Judicial branch of the goverment votes to override the wishes of the citizens and ignore/deny the suffering being inflicted by late term abortions. The Grand Jury should be allowed to try this case with the necessary information, not be impeded by the KS Surpreme Court. Let due process work, not be held back, preventing the facts from being available.

Isaac (a man I presume).........talk to me again when you put your money where your mouth is. No one wants to adopt a damaged and abused teen. They want a cute cuddily newborn. Go take in a child that has been abused, then you can comment on an issue that is only a womans right. When you do that or get pregnant then you have something to say. I have seen first hand the damage done to an unwanted child kept by a mother that thought they had no options. Men can walk away and make no mistake most of them do in this situation, leaving a woman to raise a child that will be emotionally, physically and verbally mistreated. No woman should be forced or coerrced into having a baby they know that they "DO NOT WANT". Abortion is not murder! In most cases it is a blessing for all. So stay at home in your expensive Bel Aire home and leave these women alone. I don't know of any men seeking an abortion, do you?

People need to read their constitution and pay particular attention to FREEDOM OF CHOICE. I am sick and tired of people taking away choices that people choose to make. Smoking, abortion when will it end. Leave people alone and let them live life the way that they choose..hence FREEDOM OF CHOICE.

sounds like the taliban has to exersize more control over the supreme court, who ever heard of constitutionally guarenteed rights?

Kathy, Wake up! Abortion IS the worst thing that could possibly be done to a child, not to mention the mother because its MURDER of innocent human life! Is is okay to euthanize an elderly relative if its not convenient for you to take care of them? It is true that children do not choose to be abused; however, children do not have a choice to be murdered either. Save the dolphins? How about save the humans. Most of the men (and women) who stand in front of the abortion mill are professionals with good-paying jobs who dedicate a portion of their time to help save other good men and women from making a horrible mistake. It is horrible that abuse happens, yes. Abuse happens to children that come from parents who never considered abortion as well. Having an abortion does not make any of it right, in fact, it only compounds the problem. Abortion hurts not just the woman, it hurts other family and friends as well. I pray that Tiller makes a conversion of his heart. JMJ Pray for us!

It is a real sad day when a woman has to fight for her right to privacy. These anti-abortion activists have no clue what it means to give women a choice in what to do with their bodies. Their focusing on destroying a good man with a family of his own. They post their disgusting pictures up and try to run women off the clinic. How long the welfare lines would be without Dr. Tiller. These people have no solutions for women in crisis they are just part of the problem. I would like to see more women step up and speak out for doctor Tiller and the work he has done. He should be commended for the lives he has helped and these women should not have their privacy violated. There is a manhunt right now for a marine who killed a woman and her unborn baby, the state would have you call him a fetus so that he cannot be charged with a double murder. And these people are going after a good man who has saved countless women. Shame on them.

Thank God, someone finally is paying attention. This man should be applauded for the good he does not drug into court. Have you ever driven by and noticed just how many men have time to stand in front of the clinic. I say get a job, and when you can get pregnant and carry a baby then you have the right to protest. How many of these people are willing to adopt these children after they are damaged by the women that did not want them in the first place? Have you ever seen a severely abused child? There are far worse things done to babies than abortion, read the paper!
