Medical records are a private matter that most Americans take very seriously. Thus, there are laws to prevent these private matters from becoming public record. Doctor/patient confidence is something we should be proud to uphold. No matter your position on abortion, it is illegal to make these records public. Also, people choose abortion for many reasons, some of them dramatic, such as pregnancy resulting from incest and rape...even more reason to keep these matters private.
"the statute repuires a reasonable suspicion" to start a grand jury? I thought it only took names on a petition since thats what it took.
Paul Buchannan = Pro-Life Kansas Lacky This judge is the farthest from fair judge on the bench.
Horray, chalk up another win for the taliban and their pet judge.
I don't know why the patients would care if people know they had an abortion. It's legal so why should they want to hide unless they know it is wrong to end a pregnancy the way they did.
