Four teenagers have been arrested accused of setting a Wichita Police car on fire.
The suspects were arrested after a similar incident at a south Wichita park over the weekend. Police said the teenagers set a stolen car on fire at Osage Park Saturday. The car was stolen from Wichita Auto Auction along with two others early Thursday morning. Owner Wilmma Grise says the thieves ruined her electric fencing and damaged 5 other cars.
Investigators believe the suspects are connected to the WPD arson on April 21, as well as several other recent car thefts.
Two boys, ages 16, 17, and one 17-year-old girl were booked into the juvenile detention center for arson and burglary. An 18-year-old man was also booked into the Sedgwick County detention center on similar charges.
