Got a couple of minutes? That's all you need to do a few things to improve your health.
They're tips from Men's Health Magazine, but all of us can use them. They're little things you can start doing today. Each takes two minutes or less, to get you on your way to better health.
Take ten seconds to examine your toothbrush. Replace it every three months or sooner if the bristles are curled or discolored.
Take a minute to read the comics page. Laughter can reduce stress and improve your breathing and circulation.
Talk with your pharmacist for a couple of minutes. Ask about a prescribed drug's side effects, which drugs not to mix with it, and what would happen if you suddenly stopped taking it.
Take time out. Research shows if you lean back in your chair, close your eyes and relax your body for just two minutes, it can energize you almost the same way a quick snooze can.
Squeeze in walking to burn extra calories. A few seconds here and there can really add up.
Take the stairs instead of the elevator, and park your car a little farther away, wherever you go.
