A baby has died after an accident in Sumner county.
The crash happened southwest of Oxford, at 20th and S. Greenwich Road around 11:30 a.m.
Officials said that a car was heading east on 20th, when it collided with a northbound trash truck. There is not a stop sign at the intersection.
A child, less than one-year-old, died at the scene. Two other people were flown to a Wichita-area hospital for treatment. The trash truck driver was not hurt.
Investigators said the child was strapped in a car seat. The truck struck the side next to the car seat.
The crash remains under investigation.

Sumner county authorities are investigating a serious accident southwest of Oxford.
It happened at 20th and S. Greenwich Road late Friday morning.
Details of the accident remain unclear, but at least one person was flown to a Wichita hospital for treatment.
It is not known at this time how many vehicle were involved.
