Printed Threat Leads To School Evacuation

Butler County sheriff's investigators say it was a printed threat, which probably originated from the school's computer lab. Classes resumed around 1:30 p.m. No suspicious items were found, and the identity of the person responsible remains unknown.

A Whitewater school has been evacuated as authorities investigate reports of a bomb threat.

Students at Remington Middle School, 317 East Central St., left the building around 9:30 a.m. Thursday. About 150 students attend classes at the middle school.

A school official tells KAKE news students and faculty have been relocated to Swiss Church, 125 S. Oak St., as officials investigate.

It is unclear how the bomb threat was discovered.
