Prosecutors Plan News Conference In Schneider Investigation
The U.S. Attorney for Kansas has called an afternoon news conference to announce major new developments in a major health care fraud investigation.

The U.S. Attorney for Kansas has called an afternoon news conference to announce new developments in a major health care fraud investigation.
KAKE News has learned the news conference will focus on the investigation into Haysville Dr. Stephen Schneider. Jail records show Dr. Schneider and his wife Linda were arrested Wednesday, and held for the U.S. Marshals.
Federal agents raided Dr. Schneider's clinic in September of 2005, over allegations he wrote illegal prescriptions.
Dr. Schneider is also the target of several wrongful death lawsuits.
The news conference is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. KAKE News and kake.com will have updates throughout the day.
