Murder Suspect Faces Additional Charges

The man sought in the death of an El Dorado woman has been charged with a sex crime against the 16-year-old pregnant girl believed to be with him on the run.

Twenty-four-year-old Israel Mireles is charged with aggravated
indecent liberties with a child involving Victoria Martens.

Martens is eight months pregnant with a child believed to be fathered by Mireles.

Mireles is a suspect in the death of 18-year-old Butler Community College student Emily Sander.

Sander was last seen alive on November 23rd as she left an El Dorado bar with a man police have identified as Mireles.

A felony warrant alleges that Mireles had intercourse with Martens when she was under 16.

The charge alleges that the sex crime occurred around May 7th.

Martens turned 16 on September 23rd.
