Man Killed in Gove County Train Accident

The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating a train vs. pickup accident that happened Sunday afternoon. It happened on Gove County Road 24 at the rail crossing one mile west of Grinnell.
21 year-old Royce Fellhoelter was pronounced dead at the scene. Fellhoelter was northbound on the county road at about 1:30 in the afternoon when he was struck by the Union Pacific train. His truck spun out into the ditch.
