A Kansas woman is dead after a two-vehicle collision in Allen County.

Pamela Mae Hutton, 26, of Gas, Kansas, was traveling southbound on 1400 Road in a 1998 Chevy Tracker. Roy Thomas Fritch, 50, of Humbolt, Kansas was northbound in a 1997 Ford F-350 pickup.

Hutton lost control of her vehicle on an icy bridge and went into the northbound lane and the two vehicles hit on the south end of the bridge, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at about 7:30 a.m. Saturday, just south of the Iola city limits.

Hutton was pronounced dead at the scene. Fritch was not injured, according to the report.
