On Friday evening, a Reno County Sheriff's deputy was patrolling an area where previous drug search warrants had been served. The deputy detected a strong odor of anhydrous ammonia, which is commonly used in the manufacturing of methamphetamines.
A search warrant was obtained and two operational meth labs were discovered.
A man identified as Benny Cullison was arrested for manufacturing meth and weapons charges. His bond is currently set at $200,000.
Additional search warrants were obtained for stolen property and seven truck loads of items were seized, including 20 guns, tools, electronics and a stolen vehicle.
Detectives will continue working the case in an attempt to match up property with the rightful owners.
