Man Riding Scooter Shot By Neighbor
A Wichita man riding his scooter along the sidewalk in front of his residence in the 800 block of South Lightner was shot by his neighbor.

A Wichita man riding his scooter along the sidewalk in front of his residence in the 800 block of South Lightner was shot by his neighbor.
The shooting happened at about 10:15 p.m. Friday.
The 43-year-old man was shot at twice and hit once in the right leg. He was taken to Wesley Medical Center with a non-life threatening injury.
The 47-year-old neighbor was taken into custody by Wichita police for aggravated battery and possession of a firearm by a felon. Police say they don't know what the motivation was for the shooting.
