Update

A Norwich, Kansas teenager is dead after the car she was driving collided with a semi tractor in Sumner County.

Kylie Renee Hare, 18, of Norwich was driving a 2004 Pontiac southbound on Argonia Road at about 9 a.m. Friday when she pulled out in front of a semi which was traveling westbound on K-42, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at K-42 westbound at Argonia Rd in Suppersville, about two miles north of Milton.

The driver of the semi, Francisco Hernandez, 53, of Gruver, was not injured.

Around 9:15 this morning, a late-model Pontiac Grand Am was traveling southbound on Argonia Road and pulled out in front of a semi traveling westbound on K-42.

The Sumner County Sheriff's Department says the woman driving the Pontiac was killed in the crash.

No one else was hurt and traffic has since reopened.
