A nationally known animal expert gave a boost to a local wildlife park Tuesday night. TV personality Jack Hanna was the featured guest at a fundraiser for Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Goddard.

Hanna gave guests an up-close look at some exotic animals and spoke about the importance of conservation. Money from the event will help fund the expansion and renovation of the park which is expected to be completed next year.
