One was killed and six others injured in a rollover accident in northwest Kansas Friday night.
It happened around 11:30 p.m. on Thomas County Road 23, a few miles northeast of Colby.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says a Ford pickup was southbound when it failed to make a curve in the road. The truck went into a ditch and then rolled two and a half times. Four of the seven occupants were ejected.
The driver of the pickup, Jance Kruse, 21, of Oakley, was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Of the six injured, one is from Oakley, two are from Colorado, two are from Nebraska, and one is from Missouri.
Three were flown from a local hospital to a hospital in Denver. The remaining three were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities say no one in the pickup was wearing a seatbelt. The accident remains under investigation.
