1 Hurt In Accident Involving Wichita Fire Truck

One person was hurt after an accident involving a Wichita fire truck and another car.

According to police, the fire squad truck was heading to a house fire around 7:45 Friday morning with lights and sirens activated. Police say the truck was eastbound on Lincoln and slowed to a stop as it approached Washington. As the truck entered the intersection, it was hit by a southbound Ford Taurus.

One person from the car was transported, but was not seriously hurt. Police are investigating.
