Weston Schartz is returning to Wichita West High School as head coach of the football program, sources said Tuesday.

Reports surfaced on Twitter, but an official announcement is not expected until Wednesday morning.
Schartz coached at West from 1987 to 2001, winning 84 games and losing 49.
He's spent the past ten seasons as coach at Northwest, compiling a 70-32 record.
