Hutchinson and Wichita Heights earned berths in state championship games with wins tonight.

Hutchinson scored early and beat Bishop Carroll 42-21. The Salthawks will play Gardner-Edgerton for the title.

Heights' defense held late in the game to beat Derby 21-16. The Falcons get Olathe North in the title game.

Buhler fell short in class 4A, losing at Hayden 35-21.

Smith Center kept its winning streak alive, beating Oakley 33-20.
