Garden City HS Football Coach Resigns

Garden City High School is searching for a new head football coach. Mike Smith announced his resignation.
Smith coached the Buffaloes for eight seasons, compiling a 36-40 record. He took Garden City into the state playoffs three times, reaching the semifinals in 2005. The Buffaloes finished this season losing their final four games..
Smith will remain with the school as a physical education teacher and head track and field coach. The search for his replacement will begin immediately.
