Maize HS Star Drafted By Dodgers

A Maize High School baseball standout is a step closer to making his pro baseball dreams come true.

The Los Angeles Dodgers drafted Garrett Gould in the second round of the MLB draft tonight. Gould was the 65th player selected overall.

The righthanded pitcher was named the Gatorade player of the year from Kansas. He led the Eagles to the 6A state tournament.

Gould has also signed to play college baseball at Wichita State.
