When a condemned gymnasium left them few options to be physically active at school, 106 junior high students took ACTION by participating in the Healthy Kids Dance™ fundraiser. They raised almost $5,000 to purchase active play equipment for use in classrooms and earned a Day of Dance with celebrity, Sabrina Bryan.

On February 25th, Sabrina Bryan, Healthy Kids Challenge spokesperson, Cheetah Girl, Dancing with the Stars and BYou celebrity spent the day with the students. She taught 6th, 7th, and 8th graders dance routines, talked with them about healthy lifestyles and just had fun.

The event was sponsored by CIGNA and Mission Foods. We congratulate the kids at Wichita County Junior High School, Leoti, Kansas for their spirit and ability to overcome odds to promote an active lifestyle!
