Wichita Clinic Bethel/Newton

Wichita Clinic physicians in Newton have seen a lot of sore throats in the past week. Most are viral in nature and can be treated with over-the-counter medication to ease the symptoms. Some have been strep throat. Symptoms include fever of 101 or higher, pain and difficulty swallowing, white or yellow spots or coating on the throat and tonsils, and/or swollen lymph nodes in the neck. See your doctor if you have symptoms of strep. Strep is treated with antibiotics to lower the risk of the infection spreading to other parts of your body and shorten the time you are able to spread the disease to others.

Wichita Clinic Murdock

Wichita Clinic Immediate Care physicians at Murdock are seeing patients with upper respiratory infections, sinus infections, sore throats and cough/congestion.
