Attorneys defending a Wichita abortion doctor battled it out with the Attorney General's Office in Court over ethical complaints.
Doctor George Tiller is charged with 19 misdemeanor counts. The state contends Tiller broke the law by not getting a second, independent doctor to sign off on his late-term abortions.
Tiller's attorneys are asking for any disciplinary complaints filed against former Attorney General Phill Kline that relate to his investigation into Tiller. The State argues those complaints being made public violate supreme court laws that protect privacy.
A hearing on whether to dismiss the entire case is set for November 17th.
