What's Going Around

Stay up-to-date with KAKE News:

  • Wichita Clinic Murdock

Wichita Clinic Immediate Care physicians have seen patients with coughs, sore throats, ear infections, allergies and sinus infections.

  • Wichita Clinic Bethel

Wichita Clinic physicians at Bethel in Newton are seeing patients that are vomiting and have diarrhea. A concern is dehydration. Adults have a lower risk of becoming dehydrated because they can usually detect the symptoms of dehydration (such as increased thirst and dry lips or mouth). But, children have a greater risk of becoming dehydrated, especially if they also have diarrhea, because young children are often unable to communicate symptoms of dehydration. Adults caring for sick children need to be aware of these visible signs of dehydration: dry lips and mouth, sunken eyes and rapid breathing or pulse. In infants, also watch for decreased urination and a sunken fontanelle (soft spot on top of the baby's head). Physicians recommend using a lot of diaper cream when infants have diarrhea to prevent diaper rash.

  • Wichita Clinic Eberly Farm

Physicians at Wichita Clinic Eberly Farm Immediate Care have seen patients with sore throats, sinus headaches and congestion.

  • Wichita Clinic Andover

Wichita Clinic Family Medicine physicians in Andover have been seeing patients with complaints of cough, cold and allergies.
