We have another recall to warn you about this week.
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, bicycle trailers used to carry kids are being pulled from stores. They are the Chariot Bicycle Trailers and Bicycle Trailer Conversion kits.
The bicycle trailer's hitch can crack and break, causing the trailer to detach from the bike. This poses an injury hazard to children in the bicycle trailer. There have been 24 reports of the trailer detaching. About 44,000 of the trailers were sold nationwide from December 2005 to August 2010 for between $400 and $925. Another 70,000 bicycle trailer conversion kits were sold nationwide for $40 to $70.
