Grilled Hearts of Romaine
½ heart of Romaine Lettuce per person
½ cup of cherry tomatoes cut in half per person
1 teaspoon of cooked diced apple wood bacon
A good Caesar dressing
Get the grill to high heat
Drizzle olive oil on the cut side of the Romaine
Put the romaine on the grill cut side down
Keep a watchful eye on this, as it does not take very long for the lettuce to begin to wilt and be sure the cut side does not burn.
Take off and plate with tomatoes, bacon and the dressing.
