Serve with a rice pilaf and vegetable.
Recipe is two to four servings (depending how hungry you are).
4 Tilapia fillets (other mild whitefish may be used)
1 1/2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1/2 cup Italian Bread Crumbs (sometimes called seasoned breadcrumbs and available at any grocer)
1/2 tsp crushed or chopped garlic
1 Tablespoon milk
In a pie plate, beat egg and milk together. On another plate, spread out the bread crumbs. Dip each Tilapia fillet (both sides) into the egg mixture. Immediately dip fillets..one by one..into the breadcrumbs. Coat both sides.
Heat the olive oil, and add garlic. Cook for 1 - 2 minutes until "sort of' translucent.
Place fish fillets in pan and cook about five minutes on each side (until fish is done).
