Susan's Thanksgiving "Maize" (Crock Pot Corn Casserole)
3 -16 oounce packages frozen corn
1 - 8 ounce package cream cheese, cubed
1/4 cup butter, cubed
3 tablespoons water
3 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons sugar
Optional: 6 slices American cheese cut into small squares
1 cup crushed saltine crackers
1. Combine corn, cream cheese, butter, water, milk and sugar in
slow cooker. If you like extra cheese, put the American cheese in
2. Cover. Cook on low 4 hours or until cheese is melted.
3. Transfer to serving dish. Sprinkle crushed cracker crumbs on top
(cracker crumbs are optional)
Can also be served directly from the crock pot.
