Susan's Fresh Blueberry-Peach Pie
Two crusts for a 9 inch pie pan (I use my mother's recipe. Everyone has their own crust recipe.) Sometimes when I'm lazy, I use the Pillsbury ready-made fold-out crust. It's not bad.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
7/8 to 1 cup sugar
5 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
4-5 cups sliced fresh peaches
1 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
1 tablespoon butter
In a large bowl, mix together sugar, flour and cinnamon.
Delicately mix in the fresh peaches and blueberries until all coated.
Pour into pie crust shell.
Dot the top with the butter.
Put second crust on top and make slits in the top with a knofe to let the steam through.
Place in oven and bake for 35-45 minutes (until crust is nicely browned and juice begins to bubble through slits in crust.
