Susan's Summer Strawberry Cake
1 box yellow cake mix
1 large package strawberry gelatin
12 oz. Cool Whip
1 pint strawberries, sliced
Make cake mix according to directions on box. Bake in 13 inch by 9 inch pan. Let cool.
While cake is cooling, mix jello with 3/4 cup hot water until gelatin is completely dissolved. Let jello cool.
When cake is cool poke holes in top of cake with handle of wooden spoon, placing holes approximately 1 1/2 inches apart.
Pour cooled jello over top of cake so that it goes into the holes. Top with Cool Whip and sliced strawberries. ENJOY!
