Soybeans belong to the legume family and are native to East Asia. Soybeans can be purchased as dry whole soybeans, canned yellow or black soybeans, and green (fresh or frozen) and shelled in the pod.
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup hebs (rosemary, basil, chives, parsley, dill and/or thyme)
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon honey
Salt and pepper to taste
Thoroughly blend all ingredients in blender or jar with tight fitting lid until smooth.
Makes 1 cup dressing.
